Tags for Dog Collars

Is it safe to walk your dog with the leash attached to the tag collar?

I’ve seen people just attach the leash to the regular collar (they hook it on the metal part that you hang the name tag, etc. on). I was just wondering if that’s sturdy enough. I always use a harness, just fyi. Thanks!

Yes. That’s what the ring is there for, to hold tags and attach a leash to.

I dislike harnesses, they encourage pulling. I always walk a dog with a collar.

> I disagree with that. A small dog can walk with a collar just fine, you TRAIN IT not to pull. I’ve owned toy breed dogs my whole life, used collars on every single one of them, and have never had a dog have damage from the collar.
